The Diary: Bringin' you to Europe Part 4
So, here's day 4 in London!
13th September 2006
Mom went for her meetin in the mornin again.
Daddy and i went for the hotel's breakfast and then checked out the hotel and to find out that our internet access expense was 40 pounds! (S$127.60) we only used it for less than a day man. This amount could let me use the net for 2-3 months in Singapore!
We took a cab to the hotel we were gonna stay that night to prepare for the Europe tour the next day. It was called the Mentone Hotel.
The hotel is the copper building behind me.
The hotel is rather a small one, with one whole stretch of different hotels located just beside each other. Ohwells, the hotel do not have Lifts nor aircon.
Daddy and i have the rest of the day to us after checkin in. And he went to find out about the nearest MARKET we can go to. So after the receptionist directed us, daddy and i took a bus to this market place called The Camden Market.
We bought ourselves a One-Day bus ticket. So that we could take as many buses as we want. :D
THE CAMDEN MARKET.
It's a place that is pretty similar to Bugis village except that its larger. I love goin to markets like this.
And i saw a ONE POUND shop!
It's pretty similar to the $1.99 shop in Singapore.
Yeah i saw Havianas! Some places sell 26 pounds, which was S$78, but i saw it at the market too, at 10 pounds, which was S$30, a little more expensive than singapore.
Bought some things from the market, and we managed to bargain here and there. :D
Went to Picadilliy circus to meet Mom for dinner before we all went back to Mentone hotel.
And we were all shocked to find out that the room was not cleared since morning!
Daddy complained to the receptionist and they said that the cleaner has gone back home. Ohwells, it certainly got us all pissed and in the end they sent a cleaner soon. The room was hot and there was no aircon, so dad requested a fan. And yeah, they gave us a really small fan for the whole room.
Better than nothing right.
Day 5- EUROPE TOUR BEGINS!
14th September 2006
Europe tour day 1.
The first stop of the tour was Holland- Amsterdam.
We woke up as early as 5 am to prepare and made our way to King Cross Holiday Inn to catch our coach. I remembered it was freakin cold in the morning back then.
The tour group people were all eurasians except for my family and another family, with a eurasian whose wife is from taiwan. Apparently their daughter went too, and she is younger than me by a year, and well, it was fun talkin to her and all. Mom said her eyes are beautiful as she's a mixed and well, her looks are more to the Asian side. The rest were mostly old eurasian couples.

The coach took us to a place to sit the ferry across to Calais which we will be makin our way to Holland from there.
The ferry was pretty big, with shopping shops and restaurants, cafes located inside the ferry.
The wind was super strong.
So the coach was placed inside the ship too and we then moved on from Calais ferry station to Holland.
I saw a lot of these on the way most of the time.
We then rested at some place along the way, and i saw this place that looks like marche, cept that it was a take away kind.
But we went to eat Mac instead.
Oh look, they have McFlurry crunchie!
And as we continued our journey, we saw the famous Holland Windmill. As you know, Holland is famous for its Windmill.
We went to visit the Amsterdam city of Diamonds first....
And then proceed to some prominent areas in Holland...
It was free and easy time, and we bought pizza while we were shopping..,
Look at Mr Tan's expression. And the slice of pizza was HUGE.

Friesssssssssss.
Mom and me. Behind us is one of the beautiful churches we saw.
Holland, amsterdam Madame Tussaud. But we didnt go in.
Mom and i was craving for steak! But the steaks in Europe were rather different, they have no gravy or sauce on it, just the plain steak.
Ohwells, and i saw nudes pictures, sex toys, sex museums, sex keychains, pictures, prints of boobs etc in Holland-Amsterdam. Well, it is a really open country with like birthday cards with nudes and those nudes were in a position that you could basically see Everything Clearly! -.-
I was damn grossed out. But well, we were laughin at some of those pictures, too gross till funny. Hahaha.
Damn shag after today's work, saw Susan and Summer for a while!
Well, I shall continue another day, am feeling sleepyyy nowww...
