Hey Folks!
Here am i back here updatin bout the Europeeeeee trip. It will be a long one, since i'm gonna note it down in details, and i know i won't be able to note the whole 15 days down in one night, so yes, gonna divide it into parts.
Well, most of the pictures i've taken would be either the buildings, scenery or only me myself inside them. As you know, my parents doesnt really like takin pictures often or as much as i do, though i'm tryin to get them into most of the pictures all the time. Yeah, so that explains it.
And, i took near to 2000 photos in that 15 days. Looks like i made good use of babe-ixus.
Hahahaha.
Okay, back track then.
9th September 2006
Kryssie lovely arranged for a short "farewell" lunch that very day when im gonna fly off, we idled around in town for some time before i headed off to meet ed. Lene couldnt make it cause she was so so so busy with the IMF event.

It was indeed very nice of Kryssieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! :D
Eddie came to pick me up from Heerens before we made our way to Raffles city TCC, which he told me that that's the nicest TCC he had ever been to. Had a lil lunch and desert over there.
Was pretty surprised to see Roger workin there as well. And the staffs there were really nice. It was even more surprising to know that Roger and Eddie had seen each other before and somehow know each other a lil. Small world indeed.
We made a trip to Chinatown to get some stuffs which i would need for the Europe trip and after sendin me back home, Mr nice Eddie waited for us to get prepared and went to pick up Godma, and sent us all to the Airport to catch our flight, as well as Godma who is going to welcome her colleague.
I know he would love to see a personal thankyou msg delicated to him right here. So yes, Thankyou Eddie, very much. Hahaha. :)

Finnair Airline was not as bad as i thought, and in fact, i would say it was a pretty good one. Though they do not have a personal screen like SIA, but they do have movies shown on the huge screen in front, plus the crew provided us with good services as well. The food was alright and we had blankets and pillow for the 10 hours flight too.

Yeah, the bread is so very H-A-R-D. (and cold)

Look at the view when the plane is up the sky.... Nice huh.
So soft and fluffy,
and it made me came to a thought like this.....

You can run on the clouds!
Alright Alright, let's get back to the trip.
10th September 2006

My flight was SG 9pm when i left(the 9th) and I reached London Heathrow the next day(10th) at bout 5pm, which was 10am in London. 7 hours difference. Finally, after the long long hours flight.

I didnt know that Marks and Spencer is in the F&B industry as well!

Well, now i know. Now i know.
Daddy and i have to wait for mom for a whole 6 HOURS before she arrive because Mom's on a different flight from us, she's sitting SIA business class man! Ohwell, what can i complain more of since i'm given a chance by my parents to visit Europe. Haha.
So yeah, we found a seat at the Airport and i went to walk abit around before returnin to the seat. And then, it was dad's turn to wander off. I can't leave at anytime cause i had to take care of the luggages, and dad didnt came back until in bout 2-3 hours later ( i don't know where did he go)! And I very much wanted to take a walk around, but he came back telling me to wait again as he went off again.
And i ended up sitting there readin my book, listenin to my songs till my butt really grew flowersssssss. -.-
I went to the Females at the airport and found these two machines in there.
I thought it was the Sanitary pads when i glanced through them, then i realised it wasnt. It's a durex machine!

Well, seems like they could get condoms fast and instantly, secretly and easily.
And this..

Chewable toothbrush!
Just chew it like a chewing gum.
And finally after 6 hours, Mom arrived and we were intendin to catch a cab to our hotels. And the cab was like 55 pounds to the hotel! Oh my, its like 55x3, which is S$165?!!?!?!?
Seriously expensive.
Dad managed to get a phone number from the Customer service counter and we dailed for a transport which cost us lesser with an amount of 38 pounds. STILL, after you have multiplied it by 3 times, it is still so expensive. *slap forehead*
Pounds Pounds and Pounds.
On the way..

But well, i came to realised that Singapore's cars are so much more expensive than UK , US cars. Sigh.
We stayed at a hotel called The Canvendish Hotel.
I like the area as it is near to the Picadilly circus, a famous shopping & chillin out spot, with a lot of different kinds of shops when you step out of the hotel.
This explains why the hotel's rates are so high again.

The hotel was not bad, but SMALL. And its 4 stars somemore. *Slap forehead*
Well, it was clean and when my mom's friend was requestin a two pin plug to charge his lappy, they told him he have to purchase it instead, and its 3 pounds (S$9?!?!?). And he had no choice but to get it. Fortunately, Dad brought along two kinds of plugs for my cam, and their lappys.
It is So Money in london.
OH yes, that's the hotel that charged 40 pence(S$1.20) per minute for internet access! And at the end of the few days stay, the internet charges was 40 pounds ($120). we didnt use much at all man.
Well, that's London that i'm talkin about. What can i expect.
We bathed, changed and after that made our way to picadilly circus for dinner. We were not really hungry, and got ourselves a baguette and some donuts to share and to take back to the hotel.

Mom and me.
Thats the fountain that is rather significant in Picadilly Circus.

We took a walk around to get familiar to the surroundings as we are goin to stay there for a couple of days back then.
London doesnt really have big shopping malls, or rather shopping malls at all. Or perhaps, there are, but i just didnt know bout them.
The shops are all like shop houses, the buildings are not tall, but very anitique, old school, and somehow a lil egyptian, and i reckon they might be offices above the shops. Well, even burberry, louis vuitton, clanks etc are all located at those "shophouses". But well, the shophouses are those grand kind, definitely not like those run down ones, nor those we have in Singapore.
Some pictures..

And yes, that's they end of the Second day.
Its 5.25am and i've a few hours of sleep before heading out. But i can't get to sleep at all. Ohwells, yeah, the jet lag-as what lene said to me. Haha.
And i remembered that my sister called mom that day while we were still in Europe and said that she's gonna make her way out for her mornin session school, and THAT was the time, when we were just preparing to go to bed. I was laughin when mom told me that.
Was thinkin to do more updates but as I took a look at my photo album and well, i realised i should stop here because i took the most photos on the third day. Which means, part two will be certainly full of pictures. Hahaha.
Will gonna post up those buildings and shops that i've mentioned in this post. :D
Till then again,
Au Revoir!
